We spent the weekend up in the foothills camping with scouts. This was the first fall campout the boys were able to participate in and it was a wonderful trip! They all had the opportunity to work on lots of skills- earning whittling chips, making and whipping ropes, tent set up and take down, hiking, identifying insects and other naturalist skills, maneuvering rope obstacle courses and cooking their own meal over a fire. They came home tired, dirty and happy- all the signs of a great trip!
