Backyard Buddies

We have a few bird feeders in our backyard that draws in several birds each day. By far though, the boys favorites are the goldfinches. They usually are at the feeders when we are eating our dinner and the boys enjoy looking for them each night. We were also thrilled to see a little bunny feasting on the sunflower seeds one evening. We have been watching this bunny in our neighbors yards, but this was the first time it came into ours. It must have stayed there for about 10 minutes before hopping on.

    Our favorites are the goldfinches, too! We have a couple cats in our neighborhood that stalk them at our feeder, though... so the girls start shrieking at the cats whenever they see them! I try to tell them they're scaring the birds, too- but they get so upset that the cats would eat their pretty friends! :) What do you feed them?

    too bad you can't put bells on the cats :) I just put black oil sunflower seed in the feeders. One seed fits all!
