3 Years

3 Years.  How can it possibly be that 3 years have already gone by?  It seems like just yesterday, I was holding her feeling like it was all a dream.  That after all these years, I gave birth to a GIRL.  And now, today, she has grown into such a beautiful little girl, both inside and out.

Today, it was her day and in true Kenna fashion, she wasn't shy about letting us know what she wanted.  Normally, she wants us to call her Princess.  But today, we were to call her "Birthday Girl".  She knew what birthdays were all about this time around.  She knew that today, she was no longer 2, but now 3 and that meant she was big.

Today also marked a new phase for our little family.  For the first time in over 10 years, I am not pregnant or nursing or changing diapers.  It is rather new for this mama to see her baby turn 3 knowing this is the last "3" for our family.  But it is also fun.  She brings so much joy to us and our family wouldn't be the same without her!
