We had decided that for turning 10, you get a "big" birthday party (i.e. an event). Blake knew immediately he wanted to do bowling and laser tag so that is what we did last Sunday. He invited a few neighborhood friends and we all headed to the lanes for an afternoon of fun. MaKenna was pretty amusing to watch bowl. After she rolled the ball she immediately would start to clap and jump up and down like it was the best thing on earth! Of course she didn't remain interested the whole game, so Daddy stepped in an took her spot. The boys all did pretty well and had a lot of fun...cheering on each other when they got a strike or spare. After, bowling we had ice cream cake and Blake opened his gifts. All great gifts...legos and a lightsaber. Then it was on to laser tag and a few arcade games. Blake said it was one of the best birthdays he had and I am so glad he had fun!
