This is what the bathroom looks like after Parker has been there :)
Do you want a cracker or...
an apple?

Well maybe a...

Me (to Jacob): do you want grapes or blueberries?
Jacob: what mommy?
Me: do you want grapes or blueberries
Jacob: well, maybe a lollipop.

Can't blame him for trying! :)

Success!

Jacob is doing so awesome with his potty training. He stays dry during his naps and is dry most nights. He has been accident free for the last three days as well as goes to the potty all by himself (no prompting from me!). Unlike Blake's experience, Jacob is very willing to poop on the potty as well. I am so proud of how well he is doing. Way to go Jacob!

You kill me mom

Peter was so nice as to buy me an ice cream cake the other day for my birthday. Since then, the boys have been hounding me everyday to have a piece. Tonight I told them they could have a piece after their dinner. Jacob was being very stubborn and didn't want to finish his dinner. This is how the conversation went:
Jacob: I am all done, mommy.
Me: No you aren't. You have to eat it all gone.
Jacob: No, mommy. I am all done.
Me: Okay, but no ice cream cake.
Jacob: You're killing me mommy.

Boo!

We have now added another word to Parker's list of things he can say. I play a modified hide-and-seek game with my kids where rather than them finding me, I jump out and scare them. Parker LOVES it and decided it was his turn to scare me. So he "ran" into my bedroom, turned around and peeked out the door and said "BOO".

The crabby song

I guess the "crabbies" have been going around our house a little too much lately. Blake was in the foulest mood yesterday morning and was taking it out on his little brothers. Jacob decided it was worth composing a song about it. He went and got his play drum, broke out a beat and started rapping "Blake is so crabby. Blake is so crabby. Blake is CRABBY" Ha, Ha. He cracks me up!

I'm outta here

Boys will be boys and this is just something I have had to come to terms with. However, I am scared for what the future holds for : So, those of you who know Jacob then know he can expell his gas like a grown man. And that goes for both ways. Blake and Jacob were sitting next to each other on the couch and Jacob did the biggest toot I have ever heard from a little boy. Blake immediately popped up (he had been laying right by that area), started waving his hand in the air and said "I am outta here!"

We are Potty Training!

We have officially begun potty training. I must say, things are off to a great start. Jacob only wears pull-ups at nap time and during the night. We have only had 4 accidents over the last three days. He is doing so amazing right now and I can't believe how easy he took to peeing on the potty. He looks so grown up in his big boys (underwear)!

BOINK!

Today Parker discovered a new game. He had accidentally hit his head on the sliding glass doors and when he did, I said "boink". Well, apparently this is extremely funny to a toddler because he started to laugh so hard, he gave himself the hiccups. And then continued to bump his head on the glass. I would say "boink" each time and he would laugh hysterically. This went on for about 3 minutes. Then it was my turn to bump my head on the glass.
